Do we need a diagnosis before starting?+
No. Mónica works with children, teenagers and adults with or without a diagnosis. Support can begin with the situations you want to understand or improve.
What does the main plan include?+
It includes an initial conversation, a context review, one home visit, one additional school, group or relevant-setting visit, functional goals, practical strategies, and a written plan explained to the family.
Can you observe my child at home or at school?+
Yes. With the appropriate consent, Mónica can observe the setting and coordinate with the school so that strategies are consistent and realistic.
How is educational support different from clinical psychology?+
Educational and behaviour support addresses practical goals involving learning, communication, routines, independence, participation and the environment. It does not replace medical or clinical psychological assessment or emergency care.
Can you help when there may be bullying, school avoidance or a change in behaviour?+
Yes, within an educational scope. Mónica can help identify barriers, triggers and needs, suggest strategies and coordinate support with the family and school. She does not investigate or diagnose bullying, provide psychological therapy, or replace safeguarding procedures or urgent care.
Which areas do you serve?+
The service is primarily based in Salou and also serves Tarragona, Reus, Cambrils, Vila-seca, La Pineda and Vilafortuny depending on the type of support.
